On June 13th, with the help of Valerie Kaneko, I organised a second Linklater Symposium graciously hosted in London by LAMDA. It is LAMDA's 165th anniversary this year, and it was wonderful to remember Kristin's teaching and her living legacy at LAMDA.

A group of about 35 participants gathered and some more were online to spend the day moving with Jackie Snow, voicing with Joanna Kurzynska, and reflecting with David Jarzen, Bernadette Cronin, Olivia Owen, Nicola Collett and myself on the Linklater voice practice.

There was a good balance of practice with the "Pure Movement" and "Sighing-Singing" sessions and some complex reflections around gendered voice and the question, "Is freeing the voice freeing the person?". This event reverberated the genuine interest about Linklater voice work today, six years after Kristin's death, both the excitement it generates and the complex thinking it stimulates.
